1. What services do you offer for doctoral students? We provide coaching and editing services to support doctoral students in their academic journey. Our services include:

2. How does coaching differ from editing? Coaching focuses on guiding you through the research and writing process, offering feedback, strategies, and accountability to help you stay on track. Within the edit, we (a) proofread the entire document (b) check APA format of the document, (c) run through recite-works to ensure your in-text citations are correct and the reference list aligns to the citations in the document, (d) edit the appendices, (e) correct the TOC, (f) fix the navigation pane, (g) format the List of Tables and Tables, (h) List of Figures and format of Figures, and (i) point out short and long paragraphs for you to correct, (j) and check for spacing across the document (random indents, hard returns, and incorrect spaces between paragraphs and sentences). 

3. Can you help with all stages of the doctoral process? Yes! We assist students at all stages, from proposal development to the final dissertation defense.

4. What types of documents do you edit? We edit dissertations, theses, journal articles, conference papers, proposals, and any other academic writing relevant to doctoral students.

5. Do you provide plagiarism checks? While we do not write or rewrite content for you, we can provide feedback on citation practices and recommend tools for checking originality.

7. What are your turnaround times? Turnaround times vary based on the length and complexity of the document. We will provide an estimated timeline during our initial consultation or based on the service you book. 

8. How do you ensure confidentiality? All submitted documents and discussions are strictly confidential. We do not share your work with third parties, which includes committee members and universities. We strictly work with you, the client. 

9. What are your rates? Rates depend on the level of service, document length, and turnaround time. Contact us for a personalized quote if the services listed do not meet what you are looking for.

10. Do you offer revisions on edits?  Edits are a one-time purchase. However, connect with Dr. Keating at info@dkeducationconsulting.com to discuss any issues.

11. Do you work with non-native English speakers? Absolutely! We specialize in helping non-native English speakers refine their academic writing.

12. How do payments work? We accept payments via debit, credit, and payment plan options like Klarna, Paypal, Sezzle, and Afterpay.  The payment starts your service but prepaid services are also available. 

13. What if I need ongoing support? We offer ongoing coaching packages to support you throughout your doctoral journey.

14. Do you guarantee approval by my advisor or committee? While we aim to enhance your writing, approval depends on your institution's requirements and your advisor's feedback. We will never make you argue with your committee. We are here to get you across the finish line! 

15. What is your refund policy? Due to this being a service and the service cannot be returned, refunds will not be issued.

16. Do you write for students? We do not write or rewrite content for students because that is considered ghost writing and plagiarism, instead, we read through the content and provide suggestions if there are any necessary changes for sentences that are not complete or not clear. We do not add to or delete sentences or paragraphs or address committee comments about content because every committee member is different. The best service for working through feedback on content is a coaching service.
